The Beginner Junior Men's race was incredibly close. The top three racers all crossed the finish line within SIX SECONDS of each other and fourth place was less than one minute from the leader. That leader was Jeff Meyer - First State Velo Sport who blasted into the finish just 3.624 seconds before 2nd place Chris Daugherty. Hot on his wheel was Brandon Gzajkowski - Bike Line Corporate at just 5.7 seconds back from 1st place. 4th Place Zack Dettmore finished up just 57.8 seconds back from 1st place. Robby McElfresh - Yellow Breeches Racing placed fifth two minutes and one second back.

Seth Witman - Cycle Works won the Beginner Men Senior 1 race with a time of 55:22. Beginner tackles man made log crossingEric Mushrush was right on his heels taking second @ 26 seconds back. Keith Wescott took third.

The fastest Beginner Overall (making it two in a row for the Classic Series presented by TREK races) was the winner of the Senior 2 race - Brian Murphy. Brian won with a time of 49:53, however it wasn't an easy game as he had to hold off the ever aggressive Andy Anderson. Andy worked hard the whole race placing 2nd at just 46.7 seconds back. Justin Tillinghast - First State Velo Sport finished 3rd @ 2:04 back.

The Beginner Vet 1 race was again hotly contested by Robert Sawickey - Action Wheels and Scott Armstrong - Y's Guys. Bob Sawickey held off Scott Armstrong by a mere 24 seconds which actually is an improvement as last race (Granogue) these two were only 7 seconds apart. Let's see what happens at Fair Hill July 18th. Keep your eye on these guys as it will prove to be quite a race I'm sure. Steven Constante - Action Wheels placed third 1:54 back. Brad Bugher - Y's Guys was running at gangster strength winning 1st place Beg Vet 2 with a time of 51:59. Tim Schultz - Action Wheels took second at 2:27 back and Fred Hofstetter - Bike Line Corporate placed third.

1st Place Beg Master 1 Bill Ringler - Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers remains undefeated for the Classic Series presented by Trek races. After being a bit confused at the dual arrows (excerpt from interview): "I got a little spooked with the "right" and "left" turn arrows on the same tree. It identified two different routes each racer could take... I actually stopped to attempt to decipher the arrows and then went right on a guess. After riding 50 yards, I realized the trails came back together, then ran the same route on my second time through." Bill continued with his winning streak taking his third 1st place in a row in 58:42. Although undefeated, Mr. Ringler faced serious competition from 2nd place winner Cullen Wambaugh - Cycle Works who was just 33 seconds back. Third place was won by Ed Camelli. John Hendrickson - First State Velo Sport took 1st Place in the Beg Men Master 2 race with a commanding lead of just over three minutes. Ed Mack placed second and Charles Nuyianes third.
