Quebec Cup @ Fortune
by Julian Hine
May - 2002

Wake up and say, I know where I am!
Eat my own eggs, and my own ham.
My own coffee from my own cup.
My own tunes I know whats up.
On my bike I ride to site,
Nerves are going, butterflies in flight.
Lots of family, lots of friends,
is this good? it all depends.
Good if I'm hauling, hard if I'm not,
In between , I got caught.
Camp Fortune with all its mud,
I climbed real strong but skills were crud.
Cold and wet but no black-flies,
Sun and cloud ,no dark skies.
Home after race, shower, change,
No long drive or flight, how strange!
Sit back relax, watch hockey at night,
but next week, its back to a flight.
Racing at home is a real treat,
My family got a front row seat,
Braved the cold, they came and saw,
now I leave for a race in Moose Jaw.
Thanks for reading my rhyme again,
bye for now, your rhymeing friend.

Results,
top 3 all locals,

1st.Bill Hurley
2nd Osmond Bakker
3rd me.
5th Marc (with a flat Mr. fit in 3 weeks) Couzie.
