How long has JAMIS been coming to Interbike? For approximately 20 years...... since Interbike's inception. What is your focus for the show this year? The focus is obviously improving our dealer base and try to make sure that our distribution is as strong as it can be around the country....... so that's our main focus....... as far as product is concerned we're making sure that we educate the dealers with what we have that we can offer. This is the largest gathering of cycling industry representatives from all over the world. What is your take on the general attitude for 2002? Cautious but I think feeling fairly strong.......... for the fourth quarter they think that it will be soft a little bit but they also see that there is more focus on family values...... the comfort market....... they expect a pretty good season starting next year....... maybe not fourth quarter. Will the Sept. 11th attacks on America and its effect on the economy change any of your business plans for 2002? No it will not. Are you happy with this year's show? Yes....... extremely. |
