Not sure exactly what year........ for a very long time. What is your focus for the show this year? We're obviously here to support our retailers. In the last couple of years our focus has broadened....... we're moving into destination hardware...... gear that gets you out there. We're getting into snowshoes....... a lot of different products all under this one banner. If you want to get into product specifics...... we're still really focusing on our core......which is the biking industry. That's where we excel.......we're coming out with innovative products that are supporting the new bike models......... the road models...... the new tandem mounts....... a lot of people are getting into tandems........ people are getting into downhill........ so we're making new products to support these various different frames........ and keeping our eye on our core demographic........ so we're still innovating...... that's what we have been known for. This is the largest gathering of cycling industry representatives from all over the world. What is your take on the general attitude for 2002? It seems that people are still feeling hopeful....... and after the tragic events of Sept. 11th....... people are still out...... and it's like...... we're going to fight...... we're not going to let this take us down....... there seems to be a positive buzz in the air...... Will the Sept. 11th attacks on America and its effect on the economy change any of your business plans for 2002? No. Not at this point. Are you happy with this year's show? We have been extremely busy...... we are always treated well by Interbike......
we have great positioning....... our booth is busy....... we have a lot
going on with our company...... it's been a very good show. |
