How was your fitness level going into this race?

Very good- feeling stronger each week. I train when I feel like it & train when I don't.

Were you happy with your position going into the singletrack?

Yes, but someone was right on my butt-- I NEVER look back so I didn't know who it was till after the race.

Were you strong from start to finish?

Absolutely. It was a fairly easy course & easy to maintain intensity.

When did you put the hammer down

The first 1/2 lap & the entire 3rd lap. By then I was having a RIOT!!!

Did you have any unusual problems?

I had two flats the day before pre-riding the course but on race day everything went perfect.

Were you happy with the way the race was run?

Okay- I'm spoiled-- ALL the Mid-Atlantic-Super-Series races are SO organized- this one was no different. Very cool prizes too.

Did you have any interesting experiences during your race (exchanges with competitors/spectators)?

It was hysterical listening to the no-cents gang harassing the experts with their musical bullhorn!
