How was your fitness level going into this race?

I was feeling pretty strong. I have been doing a lot of riding to try and get in shape.

Were you happy with your position going into the singletrack?

Yes, I was. I went in first.

Were you strong from start to finish?

I felt pretty strong the first lap, but near the end of the second lap I was throwing up all over me and my bike. That was gross.

When did you put the hammer down?

For the second lap I followed Aaron Snyder, and right as we came out of the woods we both just sprinted to the finish. He rode very well but I some how managed to just push past him at the end by about a wheel length. It was an awesome finish.!!!!

Did you have any unusual problems?

Yes, I did. Like I said on my second lap right before you come out of the woods I started throwing up all over everything.!! There is sill a little bit left on my shifter because I didn't clean my bike yet. ewww hahahaha

Were you happy with the way the race was run?

Pretty much....

Did you have any interesting experiences during your race (exchanges with competitors/spectators)?

When I was coming up the hill where they were handing out the water, I told them to hit me right in the face with it. The guy somehow missed and the water got stuck in my ear. That was funny.

I would like to thank God, and the M.A.S.S. for putting on an awesome race. Aaron Snyder for pushing me and helping us both push away from the pack. Also Guy's Bikes for all the prizes.
