How was your fitness level going into this race?

At this point of the season I am about at my peak. I basically do the same training rides week in and out.

Were you happy with your position going into the singletrack?

Yes. Jim Gould tried to beat me into the woods. I did not want that to happen because I know the course well and I know I could put some time on my class in that section.

Were you strong from start to finish?

Yes. I knew I had a pretty good lead going into the last lap so I didn't have to push real hard at the end.

When did you put the hammer down?

First two laps.

Did you have any unusual problems?

No. Everything went very smooth.

Were you happy with the way the race was run?

Since it was my clubs race everything wes perfect.

Did you have any interesting experiences during your race (exchanges with competitors/spectators)?

It's my local race so I knew a lot of the marshals and spectators, who always had something to say to me when I went by.

Anything you would like to add?

I think Neshaminy is a good course.You put a lot of effort into running a race and it would have been nice to see a better turnout.
