How was your fitness level going into this race?

I think in a week or two I'll be at my peak, since I've been training hard for Nationals next month, so I think it was pretty high.

Were you happy with your position going into the singletrack?

No. I should've been a little bit quicker off of the beginning, because I was in 4th going into the singletrack. It didn't hurt much at all though because it was easy for me to pass.

Were you strong from start to finish?

Yes. I held a strong steady pace throughout the race.

When did you put the hammer down?

I just pushed myself a little bit harder on the faster sections of the track.

Did you have any unusual problems?

No.

Were you happy with the way the race was run?

Yes. The course was great, and it was a fun race.

Did you have any interesting experiences during your race (exchanges with competitors/spectators)?

No.

Anything you would like to add?

The course was fun, but it needs to be broken down and put into laps. The one lap course made it harder to tell if I was doing better or worse during the race.
