How was your fitness level going into this race?

Very good. I was at Mount Snow last week and had my peak planned for there, so I felt great.

Were you happy with your position going into the singletrack?

I was in 2nd place for about the first half mile of singletrack, and then I took the lead.

Were you strong from start to finish?

Yes.

When did you put the hammer down?

The second lap, when Adam started dropping behind.

Did you have any unusual problems?

No.

Were you happy with the way the race was run?

Yes. Everything was well organized.
