Charles Erndl - (Gary Fisher)

Did you do anything special (apart from the whole training lifestyle) to prepare for this race?: I took some time off...It has been a long season...it was time for a recharge.

Were you strong from start to finish?: I felt OK from the start...I went as hard as I could to get a gap..It held for the first lap...Jason then bridged the gap into the second lap. We stayed together until the end of that lap. He said he would pull, but surged too hard for me to match.

When did you put the hammer down?: Went as hard as I could from the start.

Did you have any unusual problems?: I could not get my legs to recover....heavy legs the whole race.

How would you rate the course?: It is fast and twisty. It would suit a racer with good leg speed. It is the most fun course in the state.

Were you happy with the way the race was run?: It is a great event. The only problem was the delay in awards. Wally puts on a great race...Thanks Wally...)

If you could do the race again - would you do anything differently?: I would change the 2nd to first place finish

Is there anything you would like to add?: Thanks for the web site. Nice of you to take the time to show us local racer's some credit for our hard work.
