Did you do anything special (apart from the whole training lifestyle) to prepare for this race?
No, I just wanted to do race I haven't done before.
Did you achieve your goals for this race?
Yes, after Thursday's circuit race I felt I could make the podium.
Were you strong from start to finish?
Yes. No cramping or hitting the wall.
Don Morrison and Wissahickon Cyclery did a great job putting together this race and we thank them for their efforts. Was there anything that you observed that could be done better as the series progresses?
No, there's always glitches at any race. I promote races too and know how hard it can be. You try to do everything right.
When did you put the hammer down?
At the first turn.
If you ran into these exact trail conditions again, would you do anything differently?
No, maybe a little softer tire pressure.
Did you have any unusual problems?
No, just the usual mud buildup.
How would you rate the course?
Good. Some more technical terrain is always fun.
Were you happy with the way the race was run?
Yes. I thought they did a great job.
If you could do the race again - would you do anything differently?
No, everything worked out.
Is there anything you would like to add?
Thanks to all the volunteers who made it happen.
