How was your fitness level going into this race?

I felt good I did some road work last week and did a couple of mtb rides.

Were you happy with your position going into the singletrack?

Yes I was 2nd until I hit a tree but I got back on Sid's wheel.

Were you strong from start to finish?

No..my first lap I didn't feel as strong but my 2nd and 3rd I was able to hammer.

When did you put the hammer down?

Coming through the start line on the 3rd lap I tried to bridge a gap between Sid and myself but he hung on my wheel but I later shook him through the singletrack.

Did you have any unusual problems?

Nope the bike worked fine.

Were you happy with the way the race was run?

Yes I was glad to see that they started the jrs in front of the vets and masters instead of behind.

Did you have any interesting experiences during your race (exchanges with competitors/spectators)?

Nope
