How was your fitness level going into this race?

Fitness was pretty good.

Were you happy with your position going into the singletrack?

No. Wanted to be first, but took the first turn on the ski slope real wide, and ended up third into the single track.

Were you strong from start to finish?

Rode strong for the first lap, but faded a little during the last uphill section on the second lap. Made up some time on the downhill sections.

When did you put the hammer down?

Did you have any unusual problems?

None.

Were you happy with the way the race was run?

Yes. Well done as usual. Don Morrison has done a terrific job with this series. Thank you Don!

Did you have any interesting experiences during your race (exchanges with competitors/spectators)?

Yes. I endo'd at the exact same spot on both laps. The second time around, there was a guy standing there who asked me if I was OK. I said "yeah, I practiced it on the first lap, so I had it down to a science."
