MBR.com: Did you do anything special to prepare for this race?

Jon: Lots of training.

MBR.com: In the last two months how many hours a week have you trained on average?

Jon: Every other day I train for about two hours.

MBR.com: Were you strong from start to finish?

Jon: I was strong for the first lap and after the second lap my legs started getting a little heavy.

MBR.com: When did you put the hammer down?

Jon: I put the hammer down on the first lap, then tried to gain some ground on everybody on the second lap. I maintained my position on the last two laps.

MBR.com: Did you have any unusual problems with the race?

Jon: Two crashes. Hurt myself on the second crash.

MBR.com: How do you rate the course?

Jon: Technical and fun.

MBR.com: Were you happy with the way the race was run?

Jon: Yes I was. The results posted fast - that's the way I like it.

MBR.com: What was your prize for First Place?

Jon: $20.

MBR.com: If you could do the race again, would you do anything differently?

Jon: Try to go out a little harder in the start.

MBR.com: Is there anything you would like to add?

Jon: Keep riding!
