Did you do anything special to prepare for this race? Not necessarily. We raced the last couple of weekends in training races. In the last two months how many hours a week have you trained? The last three weeks I did 20 hours a week so I'm pretty tired now. I'm going into a rest week - so pretty much 20 hours a week. Were you strong from start to finish? I was strong for 4 or 5 laps. I had trouble on the last lap today. When did you put the hammer down? Today I was riding as a team.....my team mate Bill Hurley was winning so I just sat on Andy Johnston who was chasing him. I thought I'd try to take Andy at the end but he proved to be too strong, so..... Did you have any unusual problems with the race? Just that the legs weren't there on the last lap but I had no mechanicals and I rode pretty smooth.

How do you rate the course? The course was super fun. It was very fast and we were just having a good time the whole time. Loved it. Were you happy with the way the race was run?Yeah, definitely. There seemed to be a bit of confusion at the start line as to where we were going but it's a great event. The whole weekend and the fat tire crit last night.....the time trial....my legs are tired after three races. How did you make out in the time trial and fat tire crit? I was third in the time trial - it was really close - we were all within 15 seconds - in the fat tire crit I gave my team mate a lead out and he took the sprint so.....I finished in the bunch. If you could do the race again would you do anything differently? Yeah, I would have kept on drafting Andy Johnston until closer to the end of the race in retrospect but.....I didn't. Anything you would like to add? No, just that this race kicked ass.....I'll be back.
