Did you do anything special to prepare for this race?

No

In the last two months how many hours a week have you trained?

Probably 12-14.

Were you strong from start to finish?

I felt better near the end..... once I got warmed up. I fell into a groove.

Last lap? Third lap?

Third and fourth were my best laps. Fourth because I'm like.... almost done....... trying to get through it.

When did you put the hammer down?

I tried to ride a good pace all the way through. I tried to push a little on the down hills and stay within myself in the climbs.

Did you have any unusual problems with the race?

None. Good race again...... no mechanicals or anything.

How do you rate the course?

It was great. Last year it was super muddy and miserable. It was earlier and the ground was thawing and it was very slick.........

Were you happy with the way the race was run?

Yes

If you could do the race again, would you do anything differently?

No

Is there anything you would like to add?

Bill, again should be doing this interview. I told him that last week too.

OK..... so I lied - but I WILL catch the next one. Thank you Katie!
