Did you do anything special to prepare for this race?

We just got back from a semi-world cup out in California called the Sea Otter Classic. We're getting ready for the NORBA National Series now. The preparation has been pretty much all winter with kind of a tune-up out in California last week and then we came back for this event.

In the last two months how many hours a week have you trained?

Say about 18 to 20 hours per week.

Were you strong from start to finish?

Yes, I felt good today. Mark set a very fast pace at the start. It's my second race for the season so I tried to stay in contact as long as possible....but I felt pretty strong from start to finish.

When did you put the hammer down?

I think we did right from the beginning. (laugh) We were cruising.

Did you have any unusual problems?

No more than just my legs burning.

How do you rate the course?

It's a great course. I opted to come here instead of going to the Napa, Ca World Cup because I love the course. It's a lot of fun. It always brings out a lot of good guys...fast racers.

Were you happy with the way the race was run?

Absolutely, Tracy does a great job - Paul Curley... they get a lot of support from everyone down here so.....it's run really well.

If you could do the race again, would you do anything differently?

Yeah, try and go a little faster and stay with these guys. I lasted a lap or two and then I kind of pulled off.

Is there anything you would like to add?

Everyone come out and have fun!
