MBR.com: Did you do anything special to prepare for this race? Scott: Not really. MBR.com: In the last two months how many hours a week have you trained on average? Scott: Last couple of weeks not much, maybe four. Generally over the summer probably 10 to 15. MBR.com: Were you strong from start to finish? Scott: I felt good today, yeah. MBR.com: When did you put the hammer down? Scott: In the first lap the younger Expert (Pro) Dave Radziewicz took off and I tried to stay with him. I was going pretty hard there in the first lap but after a while he was just pushing me too hard and I let him go. Nobody else really pushed me too hard in my class. MBR.com: Did you have any unusual problems with the race? Scott: Not really, fell down once (washed the front wheel out) and did a little wipe out but other than that, everything went pretty smooth. |

MBR.com: How do you
rate the course?
Scott: Excellent. Nice course out there. Fun course to ride with a lot of singletrack. It was a little slippery at first but it dried out after the first lap. MBR.com: Were you happy with the way the race was run? Scott: Very good job, excellent. MBR.com: What was your prize for First Place? Scott: $50. MBR.com: If you could do the race again, would you do anything differently? Scott: Probably not. MBR.com: Is there anything you would like to add? Scott: No. |
