MBR.com: Did you do anything special to prepare for this race?

Scott: No, I took a ride yesterday and pre- rode quite a bit today. That helped.

MBR.com: In the last two months how many hours a week have you trained on average?

Scott: Probably 4 or 5.

MBR.com: Were you strong from start to finish?

Scott: Yeah, I felt good.

MBR.com: When did you put the hammer down?

Scott: On the last uphill before the big dip (Mega-dip).

MBR.com: Did you have any unusual problems with the race?

Scott: The mud made it hard to stay clipped into the pedals.

MBR.com: How do you rate the course?

Scott: It was good. It was probably the second nicest place I raced this year.

MBR.com: Were you happy with the way the race was run?

Scott: Yeah, these guys do a nice job. They did a nice job at Fairhill, Md too. They do the best job I've seen.

MBR.com: What was your prize for First Place?

Scott: A pair of bar ends.

MBR.com: If you could do the race again, would you do anything differently?

Scott: I might try to get into a little better position in the beginning.

MBR.com: Is there anything you would like to add?

Scott: It was a lot of fun.
