Did you do anything special to prepare for this race?

No. Not really. I got about 4 hours of sleep, and drove down here from Tampa.

In the last two months how many hours a week have you trained?

6 to 8 hours.

Were you strong from start to finish?

Yes. Pretty much.

When did you put the hammer down?

From the beginning.

Did you have any unusual problems with the race?

No.

How do you rate the course?

I loved it. I'm not a very good climber so...there's not that many uphills.

Were you happy with the way the race was run?

Yeah!

What was your prize for first place?

Champagne and a T-shirt.

If you could do the race again, would you do anything differently?

Try to get a little better start. Try to pound it a little more through the woods.

Is there anything you would like to add?

That's it, good race.
