How was your fitness level going into this race?
Fair.. I returned from a vacation in Disney to race, and hadn't been on
a bike in 2 weeks.
Were you happy with your position going into the singletrack?
Yes, first into the single track
Were you strong from start to finish?
No, I felt fatigue and cramps around 13-14 miles
When did you put the hammer down?
I saw Cullen Wambaugh (2nd place finisher) back about 35 yards at around
the 13 miles point. This pressured me to finish strong maintaining my unbeaten
streak in the 5-race "Classic Series by Trek".
Did you have any unusual problems?
I got cramps in both legs climbing the last few hills.
Were you happy with the way the race was run?
Yes, one suggestion.. It would be helpful to mark the "class" of each racer
on their calves, so that others would understand who's who during the race.
Did you have any interesting experiences during your race (exchanges
with competitors/spectators)?
Not really.
Anything you would like to add?
Fair Hill was a great course once again!
