- How was your fitness level going into this race?
Good, but now that school is out I can do a bit more riding.
- Were you happy with your position going into the singletrack?
I was in first but I didn't try to pull away because I knew we would be close the whole time.
- Were you strong from start to finish?
Yes.
- When did you put the hammer down?
About the middle of the last lap to get away from Aaron.
- Did you have any unusual problems?
Ummm....no.
- Were you happy with the way the race was run?
I was.
- Did you have any interesting experiences during your race (exchanges
with competitors/spectators)?
Aaron, Dan, and I rode together the first 2 laps. We weren't acting serious at all just talking a bit and laughing and riding.
- Anything you would like to add?
I'd like to thank God for everything, Alex for the bottles, and the guy with big blue earrings for the Surly stickers to add to the massive amount on my truck. Stickers are sweet. Also, someone should buy my NRS frame, I need money. The poeple that run these races also need a big thanks becuase they do a lot of work that goes unnoticed.
