Cid Ismael Jr.

How was your fitness level going into this race?

I think it was ok, even though I had a bad week.

Were you happy with your position going into the singletrack?

Not really. I had some problems in the start.

Were you strong from start to finish?

I tried to pace myself even though it was kind of difficult with all the mud, but I think I was pretty strong from start to finish.

When did you put the hammer down?

I would say in the last lap, when I took the lead.

Did you have any unusual problems?

Yes I did. I had problems with my rear wheel when I started so then I had to catch up with the group.

Were you happy with the way the race was run?

Yes, everybody did a good job.

Did you have any interesting experiences during your race (exchanges with competitors/spectators)?

No.

Anything you would like to add?

I would like to thank everybody who made this possible, the guys from Bikes by Jake and especially John A. for all his support and for taking me to all the races.
