How was your fitness level going into this race?

It was pretty good. I've been training hard for the nationals.

Were you happy with your position going into the singletrack?

Yes, I got into the singletrack in 2nd place.

Were you strong from start to finish?

Yes, I think I was pretty strong, I kept a nice pace from start to finish.

When did you put the hammer down?

I would say in the first lap, and from there on I just tried to keep my pace.

Did you have any unusual problems?

No.

Were you happy with the way the race was run?

Yes, the race was well organized and I liked the awards.

Did you have any interesting experiences during your race (exchanges with competitors/spectators)?

No.
