Did you do everything you could to prepare for today's race?
I was ok, I really have felt a little faded lately. But having the support of a great shop like Gettysburg Bicycles and it's strong cycling influence and rides keeps me going. THANKS BOY'S
Did you have any problems getting into the singletrack?
No problem I just maintained a front runner position with only one guy in front of me. He missed the turn, and then I was gone
How did you like the long climbs?
The climbs were good I would not say they were long
Were you strong from start to finish?
It was a quick race so yes I was strong throughout
Were you happy with the way the race was run?
The race was great, they did a great job on all of it. I just think it could have been another half hour but sometimes the trails dictate how long the race is. Maybe next year they could come up with another single track section.
When did you put the hammer down?
I knew it was going to be a short race so I put the hammer down and kept it down.
Did you have any unusual problems?
No problems, but I wish I would stop seeing that Harlen Price kid with flat tires.
Did you have any interesting experiences during your race (exchanges with competitors/spectators)?
No
Do you enjoy point to point races more than lap races?
I like loop races one lap
