Did you do anything special (apart from the whole training lifestyle) to prepare for this race?

No, I am special

Did you like the way Guy's ran each category separately to reduce traffic due to the large turnout?

That was a good idea, although the late start was undesirable. On that course working through lapped sport traffic would have been a nightmare.

Were you happy with your choice of tires?

Yes, the Continental Explorer Pro's worked well though they slipped more than an all out mud tire.

What was your favorite part of the course?

The fast meandering sections.

Were you strong from start to finish?

No, I started lagging on the final lap. I used too large a gear during the first lap playing catch up. This cost me quite a lot of energy and speed on the final lap.

Did you have any interesting experiences during your race (exchanges with competitors/spectators)?

All the discrepancies between different time splits people gave me. I think there were a lot of people at that race without a watch.

When did you put the hammer down?

Right after the start, I had to pass 20 or so people to get to the front and I wasted too much energy doing this.

Did you have any unusual problems?

No

How would you rate the course?

It was fun, a little too flat for me but it offered a wide variety of interesting terrain.

Were you happy with the way the race was run?

Yes, except the late start.

Is there anything you would like to add?

Thanks to everyone who helped put the race on, it's a cool series.
