Did you do anything special (apart from the whole training lifestyle) to prepare for this race?
Nothing out of the ordinary......... drank a lot.(water)
Did you find the race course challenging?
No...... but it was fun.......
How did you like the Mega-Dip?
I liked the Mega-Dip....... that was cool...... my Dad tried to hand me a Gu coming out of the Mega-Dip..... I was annoyed a little bit.
Were you strong from start to finish?
No......
Were you happy with the way the race was run?
Yes.
When did you put the hammer down?
I didn't really....... I just sort of rode....... then I got gapped by John (MacInnis) and I just sat in second.
Did you have any unusual problems?
I hit a tree and bruised my shoulder.
Did you have any interesting experiences during your race (exchanges with competitors/spectators)?
Not really........ I dropped my hammergel flask........ it was espresso mixed with banana flavor....... that was frustrating.
Is there anything you would like to add?
It was good the promoter adjusted the money and went six deep in the pro class.........and
I made out pretty well...... $175.00 or $180.00....... it was satisfactory.........
