Did you do anything special (apart from the whole training lifestyle) to prepare for this race?

Stuck with my normal training plan

Did you like the way Guy's ran each category separately to reduce traffic due to the large turnout?

Yes , staging in one spot then moving that group down to the start line was a great idea! The early start time and the time between the age groups was excellent! kudo's guy's!!!!

Were you happy with your choice of tires?

I did the pre-ride w/hutch.pythons from the moment's after I entered the single track I knew I had to change my tire's so after finishing the course I changed the tires ,wide gripper in the front conti explorer in the rear. They worked out great for the race.

What was your favorite part of the course?

The single track in the first part of the race.

Were you strong from start to finish?

Yes, as a matter of fact my third lap was the fastest.

Did you have any interesting experiences during your race (exchanges with competitors/spectators)?

When I needed to pass everyone was very cooperative and polite, as far as the spectators goes since the race classes had different starts a lot of the expert riders I know were cheering me on which usually has a motivational effect on me, which is cool.

When did you put the hammer down?

At the start.

Did you have any unusual problems?

The mud?, no I don't think so since 2 out of 3 of the races have been muddy and everyone has to deal w/it besides me.

How would you rate the course?

The course is mint (without the mud).

Were you happy with the way the race was run?

Yes very much so.

Is there anything you would like to add?

See you GUY'S next week at Carbondale, Pa.
