Were you happy with your position going into the singletrack?

First into the single track, and First out was a nice switch from last year, where I got caught up.

Were you strong from start to finish?

Good start, good finish, lagging in the middle

When did you put the hammer down?

4 miles to go when I got a glimpse of the second place jersey -- put some race into the ol' legs.

Did you have any unusual problems?

All problems are usual for me. But no flats today - thanks to the Pinchless tires

Were you happy with the way the race was run?

Very well run, great location too!

Did you have any interesting experiences during your race (exchanges with competitors/spectators)?

Fergie hung around a little longer this time to help keep the pace going at the beginning. We exchanged pleasantries :)

Thank God it wasn't raining and that there were no accidents.
