How was your fitness level going into this race?

Pretty good- although I was tired from setting up the race.

Were you happy with your position going into the singletrack?

Yes- I was third, I think (all the women started together).

Were you strong from start to finish?

No- I felt weak & tired on the first lap. After taking several Gu's and realizing how quickly a lap went, I felt better.

When did you put the hammer down?

Near the beginning of the second lap when I caught and passed Jessica.

Did you have any unusual problems?

No.

Were you happy with the way the race was run?

Yes : )

Did you have any interesting experiences during your race (exchanges with competitors/spectators)?

I had lots of my teammates cheering for me- it was great. Nicole's cheering really amped me up.
