Did you do anything special (apart from the whole training lifestyle) to prepare for this race?
No. I am preparing for mtb nationals at mt. snow so I just trained right through the race.
Did you make it up all of the hills?
No. I didn't make it up the ones in the woods at all but the steep one in the field I made every time.
What was your favorite part of the course?
Everything, I really liked the course!
Were you strong from start to finish?
I had a descent first lap a real good second lap and third I totally bonked and lost about 9 min.
Did you have any interesting experiences during your race (exchanges with competitors/spectators)?
No.
When did you put the hammer down?
2nd lap
Did you have any unusual problems?
No, just dehydration
Were you happy with the way the race was run?
Yes
