What was your favorite Super Series race for 2001 and why?

That's a tough question - I thought all the courses were fun!! But if I have to chose a favorite I'd say it was the Race for Chocolate! I love the fast singletrack.

Pretend you are coaching your closest competitor........ what would you tell them to do differently in 2002 in order to beat you?

Gee, I really don't know..... I have a hard enough time trying to figure out what I should be doing to get better!

What is it about mtb racing (BESIDES WINNING) that is MOST fun for you?

The people that race and the people that come to watch and cheer us on! It's just a great atmosphere!!

What month do you plan on coming into fitness for the 2002 season?

Well, I hope to not get out of it too much over the winter. I plan on riding and running as much as possible over the winter so it doesn't hurt too much come spring!!

What month do you start your pre-season training?

Shoot I don't even know when the 'season' starts. I guess whenever my coaches (Dave and Scott) tell me to start training!!

How do you deal with riding in the winter conditions (cold, snow, ice, lack of daylight)?

I freeze! No really, I don't mind riding when it's cold. But most of my riding is restricted to the weekends when the sun is shining. I've been thinking about trying the night riding thing this year.....

What are your goals for the 2002 season?

I want to race Sport class

If there was just ONE thing that you would like to see improved for next year (2002) - what would it be?

I want to go faster!!!
