What was your favorite Super Series race for 2001 and why?

Definitely Spring Mountain... I'm more or a technical racer, and out there to have fun.... I'm not as much of a pedaler.... Spring Mountain was definitely the most fun and technical.

Pretend you are coaching your closest competitor........ what would you tell them to do differently in 2002 in order to beat you?

HAHA.. Sean Lanan... Show up to more races dude

What is it about mtb racing (BESIDES WINNING) that is MOST fun for you?

It's gotta be the challenge of it, and the rush of it, sometimes...

What month do you plan on coming into fitness for the 2002 season?

I'll try to stay in shape all winter

What month do you start your pre-season training?

Hard core training will probably start around February somewhere

How do you deal with riding in the winter conditions (cold, snow, ice, lack of daylight)?

Just tough it out... if it's too cold... wear more clothes! ice-snow.. just adds to the excitement. Lack of daylight- ride when it's light!! or duct tape a maglight to your helmet like me and Sean Lanan are known for.

What are your goals for the 2002 season?

Pay more attention to stamina, rather than skill and technique.

If there was just ONE thing that you would like to see improved for next year (2002) - what would it be?

Make sure bike will be rideable at the start line!!! (tubes, rear wheel tightened down, etc.) haha
