What was your favorite Super Series race for 2001 and why?

Tough question, probably Fair Hill, because it was an awesome course, perfect weather and run really well.

Pretend you are coaching your closest competitor........ what would you tell them to do differently in 2002 in order to beat you?

I can't tell you that.

What is it about mtb racing (BESIDES WINNING) that is MOST fun for you?

I enjoy riding in general, races are really big, really fast group rides.

What month do you plan on coming into fitness for the 2002 season?

I'm not too sure of that yet but I would probably guess around the middle to end of May.

What month do you start your pre-season training?

I'm racing cross pretty much right now, I'll do that up until the end of December, take 2-3 weeks off in January, then start putting in some base miles and go from there.

How do you deal with riding in the winter conditions (cold, snow, ice, lack of daylight)?

Nightrides on the mountain bike on weekdays, cross practice on Wednesday nights under lights, trainer as a last resort, but I'm usually more inclined to watch TV.

What are your goals for the 2002 season?

I'm not sure yet. Ask me next year.

If there was just ONE thing that you would like to see improved for next year (2002) - what would it be?

Umm, another tough question, definitely don't have any races any farther north than Fell Mountain.
