Pretend you are coaching your closest competitor........ what would you tell them to do differently in 2002 in order to beat you? Quit your job. Park your motorcycles. Train all the time, and come to every race with a perfect bike. That seems to be what it takes to run with these boys. What is it about mtb racing (BESIDES WINNING) that is MOST fun for you? The feeling of being alive in an increasingly dead world is what drives me to race. Traveling to the small towns and meeting locals is good too. This country is good and racing is a great way to see it. What month do you plan on coming into fitness for the 2002 season? I have not set a schedule for '02 yet. I first need to find a sponsor and get that side of it taken care of. April will probably be the target for hitting full speed. What month do you start your pre-season training? How do you deal with riding in the winter conditions (cold, snow, ice, lack of daylight)? I will need to get some cold weather gear and lights. I plan to ride off-road more when the weather gets mean. What are your goals for the 2002 season? Win the Super Series, turn Pro, and race the East Coast Nationals. If there was just ONE thing that you would like to see improved for next year (2002) - what would it be? Permanent series numbers would be cool. I think it would help the spectators follow the races. I have met locals and invited them to the races and they always ask "What number will you be?"
