Did you do everything you could to prepare for today's race?
I don't know probably not.
Did you have any problems getting into the singletrack?
No, junior is a small class so that isn't ever a problem. But I though the course was poorly marked.
How did you like the long climbs?
I didn't think there were any long climbs, they weren't noticeable.
Were you strong from start to finish?
No in the first section of singletrack I was all over the place, I just never ride that kind of stuff.
Were you happy with the way the race was run?
Overall they did an OK job, but I thought the course could have been marked better, I also would have liked a longer race. Also, throwing in the beginners at the end in technical singletrack wasn't the smartest thing they could have done.
When did you put the hammer down?
I never really did. I couldn't get into a very good rhythm in the singletrack.
Did you have any unusual problems?
I dropped my chain a few times but other than that no.
Did you have any interesting experiences during your race (exchanges with competitors/spectators)?
No not that I can think of.
Do you enjoy point to point races more than lap races?
No I like lap races so there is more spectator support.
