Kevin Vesely

How was your fitness level going into this race?

I had a cold and I had just returned from a week of bike camp the day before the race so I was not riding to the best of my ability.

Were you happy with your position going into the singletrack?

Yes, I had a fairly strong start and finsh.

Were you strong from start to finish?

No, I was really tired and sick.

When did you put the hammer down?

About half way through the second lap, where I passed the leader in my division.

Did you have any unusual problems?

My gears kept on skipping and my cassette was loose.

Were you happy with the way the race was run?

Yes, but I dislike doing laps.

Did you have any interesting experiences during your race (exchanges with competitors/spectators)?

No.

Anything you would like to add?

No.
