How was your fitness level going into this race?

Ok, I've been doing some base stuff for the coming cross season so it hasn't been too much high end stuff yet.

Were you happy with your position going into the singletrack?

Yes very, I surged a little coming around the ball courts and got to the woods first.

Were you strong from start to finish?

Yes. I wasn't sure what to expect, Drew G. Kurt D. and I rode up from philly to spectate and help out and the decision to race was last minute. Thank you Kenny K. for the loaner.

When did you put the hammer down?

When we got to the wood's on the first lap I rode steady, but not pushing it too hard for the first half a lap, feeling things out as it were. After that I realized I was feeling good and started to put on some more speed.

Did you have any unusual problems?

None, other than a lost gu pak. A big thank you to Kelly D. for the bunch of grapes hand up.

Were you happy with the way the race was run?

Of course, the Guys club always puts on a great event!!

Did you have any interesting experiences during your race (exchanges with competitors/spectators)?

I almost bought the farm on that first hairy decent, but saved it at the last moment.

Anything you would like to add?

It was nice to see all the folks that I've missed seeing all year.
