Bicycle racing is serious...SERIOUS FUN! All cyclists can join in the fun by joining the Jamis Backyard Racing Team. We've cornered the market on two-wheeled excitement with over 400 racers wearing the Jamis red and gold. To become a part of the Jamis family, interested riders are encouraged to visit their authorized Jamis dealer for information and a Backyard Team application.

Every year Jamis receives thousands of requests for sponsorship. In response, Jamis developed the Backyard Team grassroots program in 1997. The Backyard Team offers support to all competitors, regardless of experience or chosen discipline. Currently, mountain, road and triathlon riders are members of the Backyard Team.

The Jamis Backyard Team is a partnership between Jamis, authorized Jamis dealers and athletes. Each team member receives one Jamis Team jersey, newsletters throughout the year, a Jamis "goodie pack" and discounted pricing on Jamis bicycles and frames. "Together we have formed a fantastic grassroots program that provides fun for the competitors, increased visibility for Jamis and the local dealer, all while promoting our sport," said GJC-Jamis Promotions Coordinator Greg Padley.
