RESULTS & PICTURES

Granogue Estate - Wooden Wheels sponsored what may be the most challenging mountain bike cross country event in Delaware. Many thanks to Mr. & Mrs. Dupont allowing the use of their beautiful estate and Mr. & Mrs. Weymouth (some of the course overflowed onto their property). The race was in memory of our dear friend Andrew Mein who died earlier this year in a hit and run bicycle accident.
The temperature was close to 100 degrees as over 200 racers competed on a mountain biker's race course. Steep climbs, loose descents, a bmx/motocross type course, open fields and winding singletrack made the beautiful estate hard to appreciate while racing.
