TREK/VW East Coast Factory TEAM Update 1/30/01 Chris is currently training on his old college turf at
Clemson in the David missed last years 24 Hours of Snowshoe because of a herniated disc in his back. David has been getting epidural shots to help with the pain and with healing. He is back on the bike working as a messenger in Baltimore City. He has been seen putting in some fast rides on his road bike around town. David is looking forward to having a complete season this year so look out! Paul was new to the team last year and really had a great
season including Sue Haywood has been enjoying good snow in WV where she
works at White Katie Compton just placed 7th at the Cyclocross Nationals
and sounds like Well, everyone is healed up and ready to rock. We're
just logging some big Our East Coast Team mechanic, Sean Langeheine has been promoted to the TREK National Team and will be traveling all over the World as Wade Bootes' personal mechanic. We have brought in Jon Posner as our mechanic so be sure to welcome Jon when you see him out there. Congratulations to Sean. It is a disappointment to lose the opening race at Wye Mills this year but we have set our sight on the April 22 race at Michaux as our season opener. We are going to have the full team deal at a minimum of 8 races this year although we are still working on confirming a few dates. 1. April 22 Michaux (Ironmasters) Race We are excited to go back to Snowshoe this year win our
new Trek Fuel bikes It will be the first time we have a full team event at
Michaux and we are The National at Snowshoe will be fun, it has been 13
