If
you only have two hours a week to train, racing may not be for you.
At mountainbikeracer.com we suggest the following before starting a
training schedule:
Ride 1000 miles of singletrack at an easy
pace. This will take about 24 weeks if you ride six hours a week
averaging 7 miles per hour.
